USA Symbols: The Statue of Liberty video. Focus today on determining what things are important vs. what is interesting. Important things tell us what a symbol means and is information that is important now and in the future.

- Create 3-5 (7 for a challenge) Study Questions that can be answered using the notes you created during the video. Use who/whose, where, when, why, how, which as question starters. Use these questions to study your notes.
Finish the Cornell Notes by writing a main idea statement. Use this sentence starter if you need to, "The most important point of this lesson is..."
