Use the Steps of a Good Nonfiction Reader with text pg. 111 handout. Create Cornell notes of the information read on ISN pg. 4.26. A quiz is given Monday over the reading information and we will debate Issue: Should Slaves be Counted in determining representation in Congress?
Warm-Up
Create a LINCS table on ISN pg. 4-23 for the word compromise. Use the textbook glossary definition: an agreement in which both sides in a dispute agree to give up something they want in order t achieve a settlement

- Meet, discuss, propose, and vote on compromises to resolve the issue.
- Read 8.6 Resolution: The Great Compromise and create Cornell notes of the information on ISN pg. 4.25.
