Quick Write:  Mini News Report
On the Quick Write form answer these questions:
  1. What news did you watch, listen, or read?
  2. Write 3-5 bullet point facts that describe the information in ONE of the news stories you heard.
Cooperate
Use Hand Up, Pair Up Intervals to share news stories.  Random select some to stand and share.

U3.3.6 The Bill of Rights
8th graders must be able to explain how the Bill of Rights limits government, protects basic freedoms (you'll have to know the basic freedoms), and how it shows the fear of many Americans of a strong central government.
