Complete all of the reading and notes for Section 3:  A Convederation in Crisis.  After two sections of reading and notes complete a 10% summary -right in the Cornell notes.  Summary 1=54 words or less, Summary 2=34 words or less 

Warm-Up

Study the image then, in five lines or more describe what might have caused the scene you see in this picture.  Type 1 Writing.

Non Fiction Reading Steps

1.  Look @ graphics & read captions

2.  Read the title & headings

3.  Turn the headings into questions (write in question side of Cornell Notes)

4.  READ for answers

5.  Underline key words as you read - these words are needed to answer your

     questions

6.  Create bullet point notes to answer question - @ least one per paragraph

          *NO SENTENCES

          *use abbreviations, txt language, diagrams, pictures, etc.
