I can recognize the regional differences in the societies of the north and south . Regional differences can lead to conflict.
- Open History Alive! textbook to pgs. 264-266
- Use Read around the Text to learn facts about how the society of the north was different than the society of the south.
- On the whiteboard; use Roundtable
- List 3 facts about the society of the North and 3 facts about the society of the South
- Classroom Share & discussion (use triangle to show social structure compare to ISN pg. 44)
- Question and anwer session about slavery.
