Warm-Up
Delegate Nametag: Create a namtag for your delegate (role in Constitutional Convention)
- Include Mr. and the last name in LARGE letters
- Include the name of the state you represent
- Draw a simple visual that represents something of the delegates personal background
Opening the Convention
- Meet and greet all the delegates; practice using formal language
- Review the role of George Washington
- Take a vow of secrecy and post guard at the door
- Review reason for the convention, the task at hand, key values, and the first issue to be discussed
