Homework
ISN Book Cover Assignment:  All year long students create their own Interactive Student Notebook (ISN).  The final product becomes a valuable resource for high school social studies classes.  The interactive notebook allows one to be a creative, independent thinker and writer. Interactive notebooks will be used for class notes as well as other activities.  Create a neat, easy to read, and visually appealing cover that shows your personality as well as some information about the United States of America. 
Include:
o                 First name
o                 Last name
o                 Social Studies
o                 2012-2013
o                 3 graphics with captions about you
o                 2 American symbols with descriptive captions

 
Warm-Up
Listening to the Schoolhouse America Rock, "The Preamble" song, try to organize the word cloud into the correct lines of the Preamble.
